Topic: Now how does this go again?

It's been so long since I started a relationship. I don't remember the bases...not THOSE bases...tsk tsk tsk! The last time I did this, I wore his class ring on a chain round my neck. Do the kids even do this anymore? Do promise rings still precede engagement rings? Do you announce these things formally or let gossip make the rounds? Does my father need to meet him still before I go in a car alone wiff him? How long will I be grounded if he runs out of gas on the way home and I miss curfew? This is all just so confusing!
