Hard in finding somone, when it doesn't make things go any faster and if it's not going there way, they say i give up


Before i go on. I'm not directing this at anyone. OK

What has giving up or saying i'm giving up really done for anyone? Nothing! your back where you started from and how can they make anyone happy.


If your on here and your really trying , i mean to the point it's driving you nuts. STOP IT! Stop looking and learn how to enjoy what you do have. You have your health, you have a home to live in, you your family, well most of us do. You have your friends. Trying to push somthing to work is just going to push that situation away. I see alot of threads and how people are depressed and for what? Yeah yeah, i know some of us want to share there life with somone and there is nothing wrong with that. But not doing anything about it and complaining is never going to get you anyware.
Think about this for a min. When you were a kid, you had no werries about anything , but the min you had a tast of somthing, you wanted it more and since then it has not stoped and the older you get, the more you want. then that want becomes a need and the need becomes a must have. Why? because you wanted that tast and now you can't let go. Well, stop tasting things that over time are going to tast bad. Find somthing you like and stick with it. Not talking about a relationship. It could be anything.

You make perfect sense Shadow and I know exactly where you are coming from.

I got frustrated from trying so hard and when I "gave up" and started focusing more on everything else, that's when things started getting better. Granted, I'm not in a relationship right now, but I know everything will fall into place when it is time.

Well I didn't find any offense in your post . . I think its easier said that done . . hard to not want what once made you feel so good . . in that sence a relationship/love/companionship is like a drug except worse

Thank you yeah, most of us wont find what were hoping for, but it don't mean we wont find what come close to it. I will never give up. I may joke about it, but i don't think i'm ment to be alone and mean while ill just enjoy my friends...

Most things are easier said then done, thats where we have to take the foot work. Nothing comes easy in this world, but we don't have to work so hard for things either.
