What if Jesus came back as he has promised?
I know a lot of Christians have different ideas of how this will occur and what will happen and not all of them are the same. I was thinking about this and imagined a news broadcast on television. CNN or ABC news. Tom Brochau ..LOL "This just in.....what?.....who?... are you kidding? Folks this report just in states that a large cloud has descended upon all major cities here and in the middle east with a giant hologram of Jesus Christ and a host of angels.....Nasa has been notified and are looking into the strange phenomena..... Okay that's a joke, but what do you imagine the second coming would be like? |

It's not what if he comes back..it's when he does come back.. I know it will be the most glorious day anyone has ever imagined or experienced before.

Matthew 24:27
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. I believe that in that moment, the world will know that Jesus has returned and every single person will have their blinders fall off their eyes. |

If Jesus came back I would give him a high five and say what took you so long!
I would then continue and ask: Can you fix for us world hunger, make everyone vegetarians, eliminate the feeling of hate and greed, fix corruption, help find a way to resolve pollution, bring peace amongst those who don't believe in christianity, increase knowledge of space travel, eliminate violence, eliminate slave labor, and get rid of life threatening sicknesses and diseases. |

I believe that in that moment, the world will know that Jesus has returned and every single person will have their blinders fall off their eyes. The very idea that people have been blinded to the true God implies that they are totally innocent and could not possibly have been responsible for their choices. This flies in the very face that their had free will choice and knowingly rejected God. This is just one of and endless list of self-contradictions in this religion. If God is purposely blinding people to him (or allowing evil demons to blind people), then he can't very well claim that those people KNOWINGLY made a FREE WILL choice to reject him. Clearly someone needs to take this religion back to the drawing board and get rid of all these absurd contraditions. We can't have innocent people being blamed for having been blinded. Especially by a God who plays hide-&-seek and guessing games. Such a God would be a horribly deceitful game player. Hardly an all-wise, loving "Heavenly Father". The religion can't be true because it flies in the face of it's own requirements that people are supposed to be purposefully and knowingly rejecting God by their own FREE WILL CHOICE. This is a terribly deceitful man-made religion that wants to have it's cake and eat it too. CLEARLY it can't be from any all-wise creator. It's riddled with far too many self-contradictions. Such a God would be untrustworthy. |

why i do believe it would be the same as the first time.....they would try to KILL him for sure, as blind ignorance always does.........but this time is the END, so all SECRETS will be REVEALED, and he WILL NOT LOOK LIKE JESUS, AS JESUS WAS FOR JESUS'S DAY......IT WAS CLEARLY SPOKEN WHAT IT SHALL LOOK LIKE, AND IT AIN'T NO PERSON WITH HOLES IN THEIR HANDS, LOL.....

Yes if such a miracle would happen I would be in awe. No doubt about that!! but I would have questions of why why why. It is a natural given and then I would ask for him to do it since he has the supernatural powers we don't have. lol |

Such a God would be untrustworthy. You must be real fun at parties. I was actually talking about the blinders we each put on. That's why the Bible tells us that the Jews will mourn for having not trusted Jesus the first time around. Those who rejected God will gnash their teeth in frustration and terror. And those who are saved will rejoice. We each choose what evidence we will accept or reject, we each choose what we believe. I believe that the second coming will be a time of truth. |

...I really think most people would be absolutely terrified to the point of speachlessness.
I suppose if you view your creator as your enemy you might feel that way. The very last thing I would fear is my creator. My creator is most certainly nicer than me. As long at that's true I'm in great shape. If it's not true, then that would make me superior to my very own creator, which isn't likely. |

Sadly, were such a thing to actually occur, I suspect that most people would be quick to judge him false...
...and, of course, later ... once they realized the error of their quick and false judgment ... they would repent ... yet again ... ...same thing humans always do in a fear based society ... |

You must be real fun at parties. I am. How'd you guess? I trust that Jesus is a nicer guy than me. That's all I need to know. If the opposite is true then he isn't much of a God. |

Well I would give him a high five and say what took you so long!!!!
I don't fear Jesus if he existed. Why should I unless the Bible teaches us to fear him then I can understand why Christians use fear in this world. We already know that tolerance is not practiced in the Bible. If so then why are we threatened if we don't believe we must face the consequences. I am told this all the time in here. Perhap if Jesus came back he would nod his head in dismay saying this is exactly what I was not teaching. How it has been revised a thousand times is truly sad. Then he would slam the book shut and say let us rewrite this book. First we shall say everyone will have a safe haven when they die. Those who believe or not! Second under the certain circumstances of how life is lived today and how it was lived back then will have some changes and Jesus would hire a good typist to rewrite those rules. Then he would summon Moses, Mohammed, Buddha, some hindu gods, sumerian gods, egyptian gods, greek gods and ask for everyone to form a circle to hold hands. He then would ask for everyone to pray to bring peace, tolerance, love, and solutions for a safer planet. How about that!! |
