In the seventys they(Politicians) said Mass Transit and alternative energy will save us from oil depentance. So I wonder when they are gonna get started.

Obama will! If McCain is elected they will still be talking about it 20 yrs from now! Hes been talking about green energy but I dont trust a neocon anymore and believe it just politics coming from him! |

my papa...who is 70...
told me that american contractors are selling iraqi oil somewhere..where the are reselling it at a higher price. also that japan puts a new car on the streets a day..whereas...years ago they did not.. the demand for oil is high.... but bush cant be entirely to blame. unless hes closing his eyes while people are lining pockets. |

The best scenario would be if Obama won with 70% of the delegates and the popular vote! If many of the 20 yr incumbants in the House and Senate were replaced as well.
Then Washington would understand that "we the people' are sick of their partisan politics and get behind him as one body! Wouldnt that be something??? |

i dont think a politican CAN clean up this mess!!!
way too many obstacles... we are too divided as people.. when honestly...regardless of party lines... we all want the same things... i also dont think that we can afford to make a mistake and elect the wrong man. |

I see we have two choices. We can be afraid of the future and vote McCain. The same old same old and stay on the current path that to anyone with common sense can see isn't working, or we can try a new fresh untraveled path, embrace the possibilities the future holds, believe in America, and vote for Obama!
The path we have been on is obviously leading us in a circle. How many times do we have to pass the same tree before we realize we are getting nowhere? |
