They will sell it to us brooke! They will just jack another $20 a barrel on to it!
Bush's meddling in the ME is one of the main reasons behind the price now!

my papa...who is 70...
told me that american contractors are selling iraqi oil somewhere..where the are reselling it at a higher price.

also that japan puts a new car on the streets a day..whereas...years ago they did not..

the demand for oil is high....
but bush cant be entirely to blame.
unless hes closing his eyes while people are lining pockets.

Madman needs to come in here now with the links to show all the closed door meetings with the energy giants at the beginning of Bush's Presidency!

then if bush is getting rich......
and the oil companies are getting rich....
and the contractors are getting rich
and the americans and the poor iraqi people are getting poorer

then obabma should have no trouble dropping the oil prices???
and a drop in gas prices should be instantaneous
because the pocket lining will stop.

The next president is going to have a huge mess to clean up.
It's going to take years.

Not instaneous, but it will be a start in the right direction!
OPEC will watch and wait. They will react according to how Obamas policies are accepted and backed by the Senate!

The OPEC leaders arent stupid backwards people. They have ben watching American Politics for a long time! They probably know more about it than you or me, and they understand that one man, one President does not have the power to change things by himself!

The best scenario would be if Obama won with 70% of the delegates and the popular vote! If many of the 20 yr incumbants in the House and Senate were replaced as well.
Then Washington would understand that "we the people' are sick of their partisan politics and get behind him as one body!
Wouldnt that be something???

i dont think a politican CAN clean up this mess!!!
way too many obstacles...
we are too divided as people..
when honestly...regardless of party lines...
we all want the same things...

i also dont think that we can afford to make a mistake and elect the wrong man.

I see we have two choices. We can be afraid of the future and vote McCain. The same old same old and stay on the current path that to anyone with common sense can see isn't working, or we can try a new fresh untraveled path, embrace the possibilities the future holds, believe in America, and vote for Obama!

The path we have been on is obviously leading us in a circle. How many times do we have to pass the same tree before we realize we are getting nowhere?

buh-bye!

Better pick up a pack of Moosehead or Labatt's so you can get a taste for it before you take off to the Great White North!

As for Iraq, I suppose you'd be safe enough as long as you stayed in the Green Zone!

I wouldn't count on always having running water or electricity though!
