I generally stay away from this forum,but I do peek in from time to time. Its almost as fun as the religion forum.

The People have changed. They do not stand up for their rights anymore. They have become complacent sheep who refuse to learn the basis behind the issues and just follow the word of the press and the lies told to them by the Politicians. Like sheep being led to slaughter, and the Politicians, like Bush have grown to realize this and manipulate the press as a propaganda tool, lying to the people to achieve almost anything they wish!
They take one right from you this year and you say oh well, then when you forget you had it they take another. One by one while the people go baa, baa, they are taking them all. Soon your children grow up and lo-n-behold, they think its always been this way! That its normal, and the Politicians job just gets easier.

They know, they can tell you anything and you'll just believe it!

I told a friend of mine when we invaded Iraq and his son was 10 that in 8 years his son would be fighting in Iraq! He thought I was crazy!
He told my brother the other day that his son joined the Marines after graduation this year!
If McCain gets elected (thank god he wont) children who are 10 today will be going to Iraq!

Life isn't all about jokes. Gotta get the brain working sometimes.

With the likes of Bush and McCain in office, 10 yrs from now gas will be $15 a gallon and we will still be wondering why we havent found an alternative fuel!

The wool has been pulled over our eyes for too many years (pun intended).

You lose one right and say 'Well, that's ok, if it'll keep me safe from the terrorists!'

Then the next year, then government is listening to all your telephone conversations and you say, 'OK, well, I've got nothing to hide.'

Then another year goes by, another freedom taken, you get body searched each time you board a plane, (they haven't got to cavity searches yet, but give them time).

Then, one day, your rights to protest peaceably and free expression is taken away from you, and then, here comes Fascism and the Thought Police!

And, unlike the Dream Police, the Thought Police WANT inside of your head!

well...we do have to have oil...
it seems the US doesnt have enough.
and oil at this time in live is a NEED!
