That's what this is about, right? Bye. Give up your "friends?" Gimme a break. No disrespect to hikerchick, but anyone on here long enough/often enough to make the kind of friendship connections you WOULDN'T give up is, well, call a therapist.

There are plenty of people who remain on this site after finding someone right (me included), purely for friendship and fun. But if it bothers her then you're doing the right thing

Good man!!!!! I think that is the right thing to do........ I have seen people stay on these sights after meeting someone and i have always thought that was rude and disrespectfully to their new love. Some people don't understand that we create friendships here. To them this is a DATING SITE and new relationships hard enough why add a element of non trust to a new relationship. I think it is just respectfully....If you started dating a guy and he keep going to a signal bars how would that make you feel and in some people eyes this is equal to that..... |

I don't get the whole giving up your friends for love idea, but whatever floats your boat. If she is the jealous and controlling type, you pretty much have to leave. And if you do have friends talk to them on IM or through emails why would you stay on a dating site and create that element distrust... To me what he is doing is just commonsense.... |
