Hello ladies. I hope you're having a great evening. Mine sucks at the moment. I was so looking forward to going to Sage's for the get together but just found out I have to work.
Maybe there will be another chance....I hope

Thanks, Flame, I don't know though. It is hard to find a job now. There's absolutely nothing where I live. That's why I'm travelling like I do to work.

I don't think there are any good jobs out there anymore...any where. I'm just thankful I have a full time job with benefits. The pay isn't all that great but it does pay the bills.
I had family ask me at Christmas (when I went back to Ohio) if I was going to move back to Ohio......I asked if there were any jobs in the area, they said NO.....I said then I am staying right where I am, at least I know I have a job with 40 or more hours a week. |

There's not a whole lot close by here either. I figure if I go about 5 miles around I should be able to find something sooner or later.

 @ 5 miles. I drive ten to work every day...that is "town" here. Lotsa ppl here drive 70 miles to work in Jackson. I could not do that.

Gee, I don't know if I'd go so far as to say I'm thankful for my job.
 It is a job though and it pays my bills. Somedays, I just need to go out into the parking lot and SCREAM!! I don't think I could be thankful for that.

aw cat i'm so sorry to hear u won't make it to Sage's. I was looking forward to meeting you. I know I was so looking forward to meeting everyone too. It just broke my heart when my boss told me I couldn't have the time off (even though I hounded her about it for weeks) but I hope there will be another get together again and that one I will make it too. |

I used to travel 60 miles each way to my job when I lived in Ohio. It was ridiculous...from the gas I was putting in my car each week, the travel itself by highway, the wear and tear on my car. Thank God I only live 10 mins from my work now....there is no way I could do that drive now especially with the price of gas |

My daughter and grandson both offered to drive me when I get a job. I told them no, not with the price of gas the way it is. I could walk alot cheaper then they could drive me.
