Do you live to work or work to live?
Sometimes I feel like I only enjoy my job because I've become rather good at it and I know and like the people I work with. But in the end, it is just a job I depend on to fund my life really. |

But in the end, it is just a job I depend on to fund my life really. If you run your own business it is different but I guess at the end of the day it funds our life like you say I am glad I work for myself If I fail is due to me If I win it is due to me I get the same salary I got from corporate except I write the checks and I am not about to issue pink slips. That is a huge sense of security believe me. |

I don't like anything I depend on to fund my life. I don't like my job. Even if it related to a hobby that I CHOOSE to do, once it became my means of financial support, I would stop enjoying it.
I believe that it's important for me TO work though, and have frequently had two and three jobs. Over the past few years, I've had a recurring seasonal job. I do taxes. |

I hated my job although I was the "go to person". Now I am building towards a career I would love. I think work is is work but then there is misery. No more miserable for me!

I need to quit work before work tunnels into my brain and destroys my hopes and dreams.

I work to live. I don't have a career - I work for a paycheck.
Unfortunately, it can be a stressful, intense job, and usually not just a 40 hour a week, but mostly work from home, interesting travel, very independant, never boring and always learning and thankfully with some of the world's greatest people make all the stress and long hours worth it! |

I work so that I can afford to drive to work...
