It is the most amazing, frustrating, wonderful, maddening, gratifying thing you can ever do for yourself.
Nah, marriage is great if you are with the RIGHT PERSON. |

It's like here, only expensive. Great analogy! You get to be praised and berated... Blind and aware... Skeptical and trusting... Aloof and soulful... Silly and serious... And, unless you find someone with whom you connect, it's a waste of time. Edit: The last sentence applies to friends, as well as lovers. I don't find my time here to be a waste. |

Marriage is great with the right person! But it is definately not a 50/50 deal...You both have to be willing to give and give in occassionally.

It is the most amazing, frustrating, wonderful, maddening, gratifying thing you can ever do for yourself. Nah, marriage is great if you are with the RIGHT PERSON. I would agree! Marriage: Unconditional, accepting, compromising, intimate, and fun! Divorce: Awful, painful and scary but sometimes necessary! Marriage is what God intends for a man and woman. |

You will get out of it exactly what you put into it.

When its good theres nothing like, you and her against the world, nothing matters but the two of you, when its bad its like the north and south poles of a magnet, you eventually push each other so far away theres no return and the pain is relentless!

I will have to get back to you.

You will get out of it exactly what you put into it. Unfortunately, that is when BOTH parties are mentally and emotionally healthy and equally committed to the marriage and relationship. |
