Yes..this is another weight topic ...but anyway why do ppl have to be so rude? i was with a friend of mine who is a "big" girl but shes really pretty...when we bump into a mutual friend who tells her (right in front of me)..."Wow....your still so pretty but you would be sooo much prettier if you lost that weight"....I was like "Excuse me..shes pretty no matter what"! How rude! She knows she's overweight..she doesnt need anyone to tell her that anyway ppl piss me off!! sorry just venting

Sadly, America (for the most part) is currently obsessed with obesity. Certainly I can see the medical reasons to wanting people to lose weight...but let's face it. Some people have medical issues that prevent it, or are just big boned, etc etc etc. My grandmother was a 400lb woman confined to a bed for most of my memory of her....but she was one of the sweetest women I ever knew. She and my grandfather had been married 53 years when she passed and (physically) were polar opposites. I've always stood by the opinion that it's not how a person looks...it truely is what's on the inside. Some of the greatest looking people can be complete asses, and some of the "not so" great looking people are the personality type every person truely dreams of. :)

That was very rude of them to say!! I myself am overweight, and on a diet!! I am trying to lose my weight, but it is hard!! I did lose 4 lbs. last week though!! People can be very rude to heavyset people!!

Its rude to tell people how wide they are allowed to be and to tell them whether or not they can do something about it. Don't you think everyone would be slim if it was just that simple?
