This could be due to the sad fact that every time someone starts a serious thread or posts serious answers to questions they get ignored scrolled off the page or the thread gets hijacked

Fiesty, There is a big difference in the way the threads are now.
It's up to the OP to keep them on topic
& yes it's very rude the way people just ignore posters.
They shouldn't start threads if their not going to respond..

There are so many BS threads like "Would you do the person above you", "Would you do the person Mom above you", "Rate my mothers profile", "Would you shower with my mother", etc... Why not just BS in those threads?

Additionally, Peeps are a very fragile on here lately. I see a lot of people getting offended when someone brings up points or mentions someone's name on here. It makes all the threads stay PC and boring

I agree with you both and I do go play in the nonserious threads nothing wrong with just having a good time or being funny. But when someone is looking for serious opinions I try to do that in the nature it was asked...honestly and with respect~

very few are looking for serious opinions, and I have found it doesn't pay to express them. People want to talk about groundbreaking things like boobs and picking their butts.

There are some who simply can't stand to see a thread that isn't about them and will do whatever it takes to ensure that they end up as the focal point. I personally just ignore them now, seeing as they're not particularly difficult to identify....

I have been told that I am trying to be "intellectually elite" because I don't like inane threads. I must apolgize if I am not fascinated by reading "huhuhuhuhuhuhuh boobs huhuhuhuhhuh"; or, 17 versions of "hi!"

I guess wanting to have an actual topic for actual discussion makes you intellectually elite.

YOU KNOW HOW IT IS......THE BIGGER THIS SITE GETS, AND THE MORE PEOPLE THAT JOIN, THEN EVERYTHING CHANGES.

SOME CHANGES ARE GOOD, SOME AREN'T, SO WE HAVE TO MAKE THE BEST OF WHAT WE GOT.

I'm telling you, the other site I visited had a 5 threads per person per day rule. So the forums don't get filled up with the inane attention-seekers while intelligent topics float to the bottom. Some people just dominate the boards with nonsense while the rest of us are searching for something that we can actually reply to.
