Topic: Fights in Public | |

My older brother loves to start arguments in public and belittle people. It is how he builds up his own ego and at the same time feels good about doing his "good deed" of putting someone in their place. How I can be related to the man is one of the great mysteries of the universe. |

Luckily we work on opposite ends of the hospital. |

I don't argue - in pubic or private. However, I will discuss with you in a calm manner. Fighting doesn't get you anywhere.

I think life happens in public and private but what over rides that is the right of the people stuck being an innocent bystander not to have to put up with my private life so I generally keep all expressions of emotion to a minimum when in public. DOn't much like fighting so if it has to get to the degree of doing it in public you can bet the relationship is hearing a death knoll.

I had a girl come to my job to break up with me...and she got rather loud and indignant, and I just kept quiet.
I wrote out my response, and dropped it at her house the next day...I was working overnights THEN too. Gas station clerk. So it was "televised", on tape, whatever... |

I've never had a partner or date start something in public before, and hope I never do.
It always amazes me, when otherwise mature and respectable, individuals allow their emotions to pull them into such juvenile behavior. I sure don't like to see it, and wish they would take it home. But then again, maybe I should wait til my husband confesses his lover at a restaurant...on my 4th margarita, no doubt! Until that day, I spose I'm all talk really. |

the only argument ive had in public which was my fault, was
a guy kept staring at me in a bar, he was staring at me for a few hours, so i went up to him and slapped him on the face lol. but he did better and pushed me down a flight of stairs, and i ended up in hospital with head injuries lol. my own fault though i deserved it. |
