Just chillin' with my boy today. He's going to his dad's in a week (for about a month or so). I always miss him so - he's my play buddy.

we do 2 weeks/2 weeks...they're my buddies for sure......

she spoils them by buying them stuff....I spoil them by spending time with them!!!!

I'm so fortunate that I love and respect his dad, too. For a situation of divorce, ours is certainly ideal. Makes me happy for my kid.

we had originally agreed to do whats best for them, and to put our differences aside.

lately though her lawyer is pushing her in the opposite direction.....

she doesnt have a leg to stand on, but her dad is paying for it.......so why not??

I cant control what she does though so all I can do is be the stable one for the kids......

its kinda funny....she doesnt really want them anyway. when its her turn to have them ,she drops them off at a sitter friday night and picks them up on sunday.......I found this out when the sitter called me because she didnt have her number.........Explain that to me will ya?

But, you're right - all you can be is a stable support for your kiddos. Kudos to you for that.

That, and, try to love their mom for who she is - even if you can't stand her and how she treats your kids right now. THEY need that, and you do, too. It's not about the benefit to her, although she will feel it, too. Then, MAYBE, just maybe, she won't try to be so petty toward you and aloof toward your kids.

Easier said than done, I realize.
