If someone gets hurt, and you dont help them. Should they be able to Sue you, for causing their injuries to be worse, by you not helping them

Hmmmm I would not think so... better to not help than to help rather than possibly causing more injury AND risking being sued!!

as a human being you should offer help,but they should not be able to sue you if you dont give it.

In Wyo, if you stop and help you cannot be sued.

You can be sued if you help and hurt them more. People are too lawsuit happy out there. Kinda Sorta.. If you have basic life-saving classes, and you don't go PAST what you were taught, you're just fine, even if they were to die. If you try to deliver a baby, or do a trac, your ass is grass.

Would using your Cell Phone to call 911, be looked at as helping YES, if that's all you can do for them. If you have the skills, but are spooked, and can't perform, use the phone. Better to do less, and not hurt, than to over-try, and hurt them more.

Should they be able to Sue you, for causing their injuries to be worse, by you not helping them This topic reminds of a video I saw of a middle-aged man who was crossing the street and got hit by a car...the car wasn't even on the right side of the street...then for several minutes, motorists just drive around his broken body while pedestrians gawk and nobody so much as calls an ambulance... That was just wrong, if I was in that old guy's position I would be upset and want retribution, and maybe there should be a law in place to charge people under certain circumstances...like if you can stand on the edge of the street and stare, but not reach into your pocket for a cell and dial 911?? Some people in the community (or at least one guy caught on camera) stated they didn't want to help because then they'd be involved. The man was injured in a hit-and-run, for crying out loud! It wasn't a drive-by...how self-centered can people get?
