This topic reminds of a video I saw of a middle-aged man who was crossing the street and got hit by a car...the car wasn't even on the right side of the street...then for several minutes, motorists just drive around his broken body while pedestrians gawk and nobody so much as calls an ambulance...

That was just wrong, if I was in that old guy's position I would be upset and want retribution, and maybe there should be a law in place to charge people under certain circumstances...like if you can stand on the edge of the street and stare, but not reach into your pocket for a cell and dial 911??

Some people in the community (or at least one guy caught on camera) stated they didn't want to help because then they'd be involved. The man was injured in a hit-and-run, for crying out loud! It wasn't a drive-by...how self-centered can people get?
