Yep, Gene Simmons is a great businessman. No arguments from me. But after 35+ years in the music biz do you think maybe he could learn how to play the bass?? His reality show is classic though. He's better as an actor. |

I do have to say I like John Mayer. Both as a writer and player. He's really good. And you can say it's just cuz I'm a woman but I love him.

My older sister saw Hendrix at Shea Stadium when he opened for the Monkees. Can you imagine the faces of those poor pre-teens when they saw this big black man humping his guitar???
Oh and I have a musical taste confession to make which might get ME banned from the musical threads. In spite of the tie-dye t-shirt, I HATED The Grateful Dead. The rythym section sucked and I DESPISE the sound of Jerry Garcia's playing. I do understand that he was an extraodinarily gifted guitarist, but to me it is the guitar equivalent of Steve Perry's voice. |
