I hate the fashion industry! They make all the clothes to suit the tastes of either the YOUNG or the OLD! I am a small woman but I do have some curves. Misses clothing mostly seems too old for my taste and large in certain areas...mainly waist. Jrs fit me better but the style is often way too young for someone my age. I like some of the younger styles...but flare legs, holes and super low wides are OUT! And misses pastel color knits are NOT for me! LOL So, I have the worst time finding clothes. I will wear a good fitting pair of jeans plumb out before i dare try to go shopping for another that fits and looks good on me. Do any of you other ladies have this problem??? Why don't they make something between a Jr. And a Misses? I am also short, 5ft 2 this don't help matters. I am bigger now than 10 yrs ago (not much) but back then I actually shopped some in the children's dept.

I have the same problem.....I am only 5ft tall and very petite. I have to buy my shoes in the kids section and most of my clothes in the junior section.... I don't really like the styles and if I rememeber right, back in the day...I never wore bell bottoms...oh, yeah, flares. And the floral prints and pok-a-dots suck!

I hear what you are saying. I am not small by any means, but at the same time I am also not Big Bertha here either. I am in a size of jean right now that is almost impossible to find. And if i do find a pair that actually fit they are so low on me that I feel that I have to pull them up every 5 minutes. And I am sorry, I do not want to be walking down the street yanking up my pants. I mean how attractive is that? And if by chance I find a pair that is NOT low rise they are too baggy and look like they are made for the older generation. It is like I can't win. So yes I do hear what you are saying and can relate.

Do most of your jogging suits have rainbows and butterflies on them too? That's exactly why I hate to shop...nothing fits right. Why are Misses hips and waists the same size...I know NO women built like this.

I have a teenage daughter. And we often share clothing pieces (except tops-she is afraid I will stretch them I am proud to say ) But, some of her stuff NO way I would wear! Just would not look right at all on someone my age.

well for me the problem.....is the hips area..........theyll go up and all be perfect form behine but wont zip up dant it so i end up getting bigger pants that make my butt look flat....... and dont evne get me started on boobs.......i get good size for tummy.......sicen ima not s skinn beanny and theyare all squished.........these clothes thesedays are weird

what I find is all the pants are too long......so I have to wear 4 inch clod hoppers just so they dont drag on the ground

Also, the size ranges in different brand are so far off from each other. I can wear 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,and some 8,9's depending on the brand So what size am I???? LOL a 5 jr in levis, or a 4 in misses comes closest. Levis has stayed pretty much the same throught the years. Dontcha just hate it when you try on a brand that runs small and you can't squeeze your ass into them and you think you have gained so much weight...kinda ruins your day LOL
