Doesn't it begin to make you predjudice when they disregard the law? They are not upstanding and, responsible. Don't care about helping their nieghbor's. In other word's, they have no American value's.

Her car was hit by someone in an ethnic neighborhood and although many people were there, no one will admit they saw it. Presumably their friends or relatives were the culprits.

Ohhh thank you, Able!

Well, stupid people live everywhere, not just in "ethnic" neighborhoods. Last time my car got hit was by a preacher's son studying religion at a private university. He ran too, luckily another Best Buy shopper saw the plate.

I had a accident receantly that involved a hispanic man. He ran over the top of my Little Toyota with his huge SUV. When he got out he was speaking english fine and when the police got there he didn't speak a word of english. He had NO insurance, was drunk and he had no driver liscense either. My car was totalled my car and I had to suffer through the third degree from my insurance company as well!

I used to live at a T intersection. My mailbox was killed 14 times in 6 years. My "01 Ranger was T-boned hit and run. MY house was driven through to the tune of $17,000.00 hit and run.
When I put 11 aprrox. 2500 lb. rocks across the front of my house the sheriff told me if somebody gets hurt I'll be responcable.

That sucked and I'm sorry that happened.
Last year while sitting at a stop light BAM!! A SUV slams me in the rear of my brand new 07 truck. I get out and I was a little pissed. It was a school teacher coming from the day care where she had picked up her 5 year old son. Just before I could say something I would regret the little boy runs around the SUV to me and says "Mister, please don't beat up my mama. She didn't mean to do it". Of course by the time the police got there I have the little boy sitting on the hood of my truck wearing one of my company hats, drawing pictures on my note pad lol.

Been there done that had to pay the Deductible for 2 different accidents. One got my F-250 ext cab hit they got the passager door and the ext cab over $3,000.00 in damages. That was a hit and run.

Second one same Truck was coming back from Hobbs New Mexico. Just crossed the Texas State Line. Coming through a small town a lady run the stop sign came across 4 lanes of traffic and plowed into the front of the truck. Had to stay in a motel for 3 nights for they could not get me a rental. My boss finally loaded his truck with a gooseneck trailer and came and got me. My Insurance company wanted me to leave my truck in the town I was in 6 hours away for they were not going to tow it back. Shshsh my boss came and got me and my truck took me 2 months of fighting with the Insurance Company they wanted to total my truck. After all said and done still cost me the Deductible. Due to the Lady had no Insurance. But I did call the Police Department after I Found out for she showed a Insurance card at the time and was told from the Police Station she would be receiving a ticket for no Insurance.

Wow did not help me thoughnoway

It pays to have the extra Insurancre at times.

this situation just sucks out right. Question to those that have been hit by uninsured motorists, cant you sue these people? if they can own a car they can pay for your damages??

Awww Fran..... it sounds good but to sue takes money and a civil judgment is basically impossible to collect on. It only messes up people's credit.

If you can find out who and where they are..you can take them to small claims and get up to a certain amount that each state allows for.

If you can get them to small claims, you can also go one stpe further and garnish thier wages or freeze up there bank accounts too!

Yeah well the Insurance company had all of that but it gets no where so why even mess with it would end up costing me more in the long run and the other person lets see lived at home. No Insurance no job living off the system.

So really would it be worth it on my end to put out even more money knowing I was not going to do anything but to maybe get their license taken away? And in the long run they would most likely drive anyway.
