Topic: DAMN That Was a LONG Movie! | |
---|---|
Having a movie night here. So far I have watched, Superman Returns, Sydney White, And the longest movie I have ever seen Gangs of New York. About to watch The Last Kiss now. And MAYBE if somebody could PLEASE tell me on a scale 1-10 how scary Texas Chainsaw Massacre I might watch that. I am alone here and really want to sleep at some point tonight.
So how is everybody else's Saturday night going? |

So how is everybody else's Saturday night going? The original Chainsaw Massacre was a SCARY movie. The remake was weaker than a weak-ass kitten. So I'd suggest you watch the original version instead. If it's a LONG movie you wanna see, try the first "Lord of the Rings" movie (the one where that old white-haired dude falls into that pit). I coulda swore that movie was over three-hours long! ![]() |

Which Texas Chainsaw Massacre are you planning to watch ? The original , remake or the Beginning(sequel?) ? The Beginning It's not so much scary it's just the gore , pain and suffering that gets you . There are a few make you jump moments but not many . I think totally watchable alone .... it isn't going to leave you thinking that something's gonna getcha . Unless your driving through Texas countryside . |

So I think I am safe. Thank you. |

The Beginning is just disgusting. I have a strong stomach and almost lost my supper within the first 10 minutes and had to turn it off. The one with Jessica Biel really wasn't scary, I laughed at that one. But yeah, unless you have a stomach made of steel i wouldn't try it.

Watch "No Country For Old Men". It starts out rather lame (ala early-80's low-budget exploitation flicks) but REALLY starts to get interesting after the first couple of minutes.
Javier Bardem (one of the characters in the flick) does a REALLY good job. |
