why do men say they are into you, and then all of a sudden disappear? or why do they claim you are so cute/pretty/beautiful in emails and then never want to meet? now this could go the other way around as well, but all i know is from a female perspective.

i had a guy i talked to for seriously a YEAR.. and everytime i mentioned meeting up he would "dissapear" for a month or so.. and always come back.. he told me he was scared that i wouldn't like him blah blha.. my guess.. he had a gf on the side or something.. or just really likes getting attention to help him with his low selfesteem

i met someone on here i actually liked near by... then poof he deactivated his account but i had his email and asked why.... there were psyco chicks after him

It goes both ways. I lot of people come on line before they are really ready for a relationship but thats not the case all the time.

me too! that is one reason why i am only asking for friends. i can't stand the heartbreaks. BUT if a man has balls enough to email me first... that says something to me. In my experience, this particular type of man, (and yes it could be said a woman), is known as a P*L*A*Y*E*R . Forget they ever existed...you are far more worthy of someone better than that! (JMO)
