I have one ex, if he showed up at my door saying he was divorced now, I'd take him back in an instant. But he was also my first real love. So maybe that is part of it. He will always be the one that got away....

No, it didn't work then for a reason and if you went back and tried to change whatever you feel you did wrong the relationship would just end for another reason sooner or later.
