Well, my calculations show a slight shift in the earths orbit lately and I suspect some may have fallen off due to the resulting change in gravity.... G = 6.67259 \times 10^{-11}\; \mathrm{m}^3\, \mathrm{kg}^{-1}\, \mathrm{s}^{-2} \; gravitational constant[2] M_e= 5.9742 \times 10^{24}\; \mathrm{kg} \; mass of Earth[3] \omega = \frac{2 \pi}{86164.09054}\; \mathrm{rad}\, \mathrm{s}^{-1} \; See? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geosynchronous_orbit_derivation might be an easier way to say it, but it suggests they were already in orbit at the time. Then again, alot of us are difficult to read, They may already be not of this world. |
