Topic: you are on a ship that is sinking...

Toss the sick person out. I'm not cold hearted I swear, but if they are going to die before we can get rescued, there's no point in someone else dying for no reason. what if that person was the only child on the boat, and the mother was there as well? Hold up, you can't change the story after you've done stated the scenario. Pick the story and stick with it. But if you are going to go that route, then add this: If I die, my daughter becomes an orphan, because her father is already dead. You think I'm going to do that to my daughter? Nope. So if the person dying is the kid, then throw the mother overboard with her child, because either way she's not going to want to live with out her child.

This is about doing the best for the greater good, so I would sacrifice the sick one.

you can foil most sharks, if you know what you're doing....so what other dangers are there?? hypothermia, not being found, sea monsters, alien abductions at sea, being rescued by the navy and having to protect yourself while you sleep...the list goes on

If I were the sick one, I would volunteer, so hopefully they will too and no one has to make a call like that. This is the best case scenario as far as I can see. I do not know that I would be able to condemn an man healthy or dying, but I have not been there yet. what if that person was the only child on the boat, and the mother was there as well?

well, i'd jump out......who am i to say who lives....it's not my decision, but i can control my own destiny..... i've been out of body, so i know i live on, so it's no biggy for me to die anyway, besides, i can be a guardian to the boat....then i can take my place in hell.

Then you should let the mother make the decision whether or not to sacrifice the dying child.

I'd push all five of the others out of the boat and then row like hell for shore. No wait, I'd save one person, the pretty girl with the big boobs, I heard whispers that she has a Snickers bar hidden somewhere on her person.
