Topic: Shopping at Wal Mart

So I went food shopping yesterday. I buy my meat from Bi Lo grocery store but I buy everything else from Wal Mart. I spent 100 dollars at Bi Lo. I go to Wal Mart and grab everything else. I decide to go to the self check out register. The only thing I hate about that register is the female computer voice saying "Please place item in the bag" "Please remove item and scan again" etc. Then I hear my name and a woman I know and her daughter have been shopping and she gets in line behind me. She introduces me to her 16 year old daughter which eyes me up and down like I am the biggest loser in the world. After I finish, my total was 88 bucks. I swipe what I thought was my credit card. It was the damn Bi Lo customer card. In very plain and loud english the computer says "your card has been rejected, please wait for a cashier" I tried to use my credit card but the machine wouldn't have no part of it. The cashier comes over and says I have to pay at her register. Needless to say my face was glowing red and the daughter was giving her mother the "see I told you so" look. How was your weekend?

At least you didn't try to scan your drivers license This I sorta did the other day....I thought I had grabbed my credit card before going into the store so I absentmindedly reached the cashier what I thought was my credit card....needless to say it was my drivers license...I had to run back out to the truck...get the right card and dash back inside....all while the line behind me waited.....how embarrassing...

Always seems that the computer voice is VERY LOUD when the card is rejected huh? So loud that the whole store hears it, and then this spotlight comes out on you, the cops show up.......such an ordeal. Not that it has happened to me. No way!
