Some years ago when our department was undergoing the 2nd level of accreditation, all of us (my colleagues and chairs) were like horses. Bah, I don't like it unless it's only a light job.

I'm at work now. It takes some getting used to. such as sleeping during the day is much noisier especially during the summer with the windows open. You have to deal with lawnmowers, more traffic, children playing, construction, etc.
It's also obviously lighter so falling to sleep can take a little longer.
On the plus side I can get and do more things during the day which other people can't who work during normal business hours. I try to work it out so that I am awake for a few daylight hours. It's not healthy (both mentally and physically) to not see the sun.

I enjoy it.

It keeps me away from "people"...which can be good. I mean, I'd prefer to pick which people I want to be around.

Also, it's nice because while other people are out working, I can shop or go to appointments during the day!

My job is less stressful for not having to deal with customers.

Yep.12 hour shifts at a factory sitting at a conveor belt.One night i fell asleep at the belt and things flew passed me.Needless to say i wasn't there much longer after that

Just finished my 4th 12 hr. shift 7p-7a. We took a beating last night, busy busy.
Its ok for me now, 5 years now on this shift. It has its pluses and minuses.
