I can't turn my back on my boss for two seconds when there's food on the table. He stuck a big wad of Wassabi on the bottom of my California roll. Ginger is the only cure and I hate the taste of it. :tongue: Does anyone else think fresh ginger tastes like baby wipes?

I love ginger...and wasabi...and I have to have both for sushi...although I don't like california rolls...if you're going to eat sushi, at least have something real...ahi rolls are great!

I love ginger...and wasabi...and I have to have both for sushi...although I don't like california rolls...if you're going to eat sushi, at least have something real...ahi rolls are great! I like changing up my orders and trying new raw sushi's .......

Fresh ginger? It is usually pickled ginger. I love it on sushi. And I agree, ahi is wonderful. But california rolls are nice too. I like a lot of types of sushi. I just don't like anything with the fish eggs.

It's a little take out place...not a big selection. That's what they had. Should I be suspicious that it was buy one get one California rolls tonight? We'll just wait and see I spose.

Fresh ginger? It is usually pickled ginger. I love it on sushi. And I agree, ahi is wonderful. But california rolls are nice too. I like a lot of types of sushi. I just don't like anything with the fish eggs. Is that pickled? The little slivers on the side of the plate? If so, maybe that's what I don't like.

Candied ginger makes me very horny. I get pup tents for 3 days after I enjoy candied ginger.
