Wrong, Wrong. You do not live in the USA, so how can you comment on what the citizens of the USA think, feel and do?

AND, there is the great debate over the SAFETY of these drugs from Canada since they do not stand up to the USA requirements.

Perhaps it comes from a) speaking with Americans, b) watching American news, c) being close enough to the border that I meet Americans here.

As for the safety of the drugs. They are the same drugs produced in the States, produced by American companies. (Merck-Frosst has a branch right here in Montreal as do others)
The difference being that they are subsidized by the government here to keep the price down. The 'great debate' was started by those same companies in Washington to try and have the American government influence the Canadian government to prevent the sales to American cross border buyers. Hurts the bottom line when people are getting what they need cheaper.

Please don't shoot me. I just wonder, if Obama had that great chance of winning, will America be ready for him?

He seems ok to me but he also seems very disingenuous, manipulative and not so bright politically. I'm afraid
he will be a weak candidate against McCain and I am
generally fairly liberal politically.

noway

I don't see that he has a very good chance of winning back
any of the states which went to Bush during the recent
general elections - McCain on the other hand may have a
chance at winning back some of the recent blue states.

As far as his agenda is concerned it it Demo-pablum. No
really good original ideas as far as I can tell on anything.
Of course the same could be said of Clinton and McCain.

So where does that leave us? I dunno. ohwell
