He can be but I would be seriously sceptical. Generally guys who come on strong with sweet talk are trying to charm you out of your pants or your money or both.

i am always skeptical about sweet talkin... usually fall for the opposite type... but the strong silent type is not very damn romantic... and i am a hopeless romantic

I'm skeptical when a guy constantly says sweet things. Actions speak louder than words. If he's a hopeless romantic, his small actions will speak more than words that aren't backed up by actions.
