Some do it to rub it in, while others call to see if you're still into them. So the latter would be more of a co-dependent like thing.

No, he doesn't know I have someone else, so can't be jealous...I think that men just take longer to realize something is over....and when it finally dawns on them...the woman has already wiped away her tears and moved on. It is rather shocking, though...to see their number on the caller ID and it not even cause a missed beat of the heart...
