My ex-husband, our daughter and I went to San Diego and LA for a week. I will never bother with LA again, (twice in one lifetime is enough), but I LOVED SAN DIEGO. Wished we had added San Francisco on instead of LA.

Went to Illinois to see my nieces and spread sisters ashes, not much of a vacation but I did hook up with some old school friends and celebrated my sisters life!!! Am going again next year. 
Still, that was really a neat thing to get to do. Sounds like a heartfelt time, time to pause. I'm so sorry you lost your sis.

I hear San Diego is really nice. I went to LA right before San Francisco for work. It was fun.. the beaches were nice. I liked SF much more though. |

Park City Utah, skiing 5 years ago. Busted my shoulder when a Moose came out of the woods and ran me into a tree.
 Haven't skied since.  Stupid Moose thinks he owns the mountain.
