That's good news but pretty typical. PVC's, according to what I've read, are unlikely to cause damage unless heart disease is also present, then it can exacerbate the condition. Try what I do, I just do light exercise now, like walking and slow swimming. I cut out weight training a couple of years back too, switching to Tai Chi Chwan to maintain muscle tone. Hey, 3 billion Chinese can't all be wrong, yes?

A 12 lead EKG can determine if there is a conduction problem, often the conduction problem is a result of damage to the muscle. Other times its an issue in the conduction circuit itself.

Sort of, ventricular fibrillation is usually something that happens in conjunction with palpitations of the entire heart muscle but can happen all on it's own. Those naughty lower left ventricles can seem to have a mind of their own, the scamps!

So I went to my chiropractor, a couple of my ribs were really stabbing the hell out of me, those are where they should be now.. lol He talked with me a bit about allergies, stress, blah blah... took my vitals, said everything was normal... of course my heart wasn't palpitating then, but then he waited for a lil while and he felt it. He referred me to a radiologist that only charged me $42 cash to get a chest xray. They're gonna give me results in 24-48 hrs as to whether or not they see anything unusual.

Yeah every little bit of knowledge helps reassure me a little more. I think those ribs being out of place (which is usually pretty usual for me, but this time was really painful)is what was making my palpitations so frequent. At least I can hope, right?
