Topic: Afraid of having kids? | |

Ok, I have this fear of having children of my own. Don't get me wrong, it'd be great to be a parent, but I'm afraid that if I did have kids, I wouldn't do a very good job of being a dad. That I wouldn't know what to do or how to handle things. Doesn't help that I'm an only child, and am not used to having to look out for anyone outside of myself really. I'm scared about what it would mean to be a parent, and the responsibilities that would come with it. There are cheap parenting classes every where |

BUT, WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR BABY.... YOU DON'T WANT ANYTHING <<< CHEAP >>>> INEXPENSIVE, IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE BEST , SOMETIMES AND I MEAN THAT IN ALL THINGS... THOSE WITH A PRICETAG , AND THOSE THINGS OF THE HEART THAT HAVE NO PRICETAG, BUT ARE PRICELESS.... BUT NEVER EVER CHEAP.... |

dude first i would consider getting a job and moving out of moms house before I would even entertain the idea of having a child. They are a great responsibility and come with no manual. No one is a perfect parent, you will make mistakes but if you have love, consistency and give of your time, you will be the Dad you want to be and need to be.

If you look at the cost and stresses and such that comes with having kids... you'll never have them, Kids are great and worth it.
Mine are a handful and can be a pain (most of the time) but i would never change a thing about them. |

You just have them and love them. I really think it is that simple, most days

Yes, be afraid, be very afraid . . . it keeps you conscious of the job ahead.
The single most challenging, and at the same time, most rewarding thing you'll ever do is to take that giggling little mass through to successful independance! The fact that it concerns you is a good sign. Says you'll learn to do what's needed for those eyes that look up at you. Unfortunately there's no definitive training manual, and in the end it's basically a crap-shoot. But always do the best you know how to in their interest and you won't go wrong. |
