I got woke up by my brother who just happened to have a birthday that day. He said "Turn on your TV".......I did. I instatly wanted to push the "red button" myself immediately. I was torn,crushed,astonished,amazed....but most of all.....Disgusted......why did those people ignore the trafic controllers and everyone knew it was headed into it......radio transmissions, cell phones calling 911....all of it....something still aint right and I'm not satisfied or happy.

I just got out of the shower when the first one hit. Called my boss and he said he wasn't going to the shop yet so we each stayed home to watch it. when the second one hit he called me and said we might not work till this all unfolds.

i do remember waking up and walking into my dad's bedroom and looking at the screen with the Ugly Ugly news and thought is this country coming to an end?? I was mixed a ton of thoughts racing all at once and at that time I was corresponding with this girl from Michigan. It seemed to me like 50 years ago when that happened!

I am sorry about your uncle!
I went to class that morning. I came home in between classes and turned on the tv. I was watching the news. When I saw it I called my grandmother to see if she was watching the news. I sat on the phone with her for a while. I then went to the college and found out that classes were cancelled. I got on the computer and talked briefly to a friend of mine that was in Cali with the marines. I knew that this was a big thing b/c he couldn't talk about anything. I remember clearly how horrified I felt for the people involved. I was glued to the tv for weeks after that, I eventually had to turn the tv off and not watch it. |

I was getting ready to go to work... and then at work we had the TV on in the cafe so we could keep everyone up on what was going on. Then we were on the phones taking calls from an 800 number that was set up for survivors to call so we could pass the word to families. We asked questions about any others that got out and tried to match up as many families with survivors that we could. Of course the next few days were worse as the calls then weren't quite as good.
Just went to see Ground Zero in November 2006. It brought back everything like it was yesterday. And no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't help but look up and try to imagine that day. Thoughts and prayers are with the survivors, the hero's, the families and the ones that never made it home. |

Me and my ex bf had just gotten out of bed and turned on the tv before I started to get ready for work. It was on every station we turned to and all I could so was sit there in shock.

I was at the Best Western Seven Seas in Mandan, ND having a late breakfast while doing the crossword puzzle with the hotel manager when we flipped on the tv just in time to see the second plane come in. We were both not sure of what we were seeing and he thought it was some kind of simulation at first. We sat on the end of the bed, two feet from the television for probably twenty minutes without saying a word...completely dumbfounded.
So sorry (((Red)))! |

I was getting ready to go to work -- thought it was an accident until the second plane hit. Spent the day at work listening to radio updates, etc. By the end of the day, all of the incongruities had contradictions had started to add up and I was asking myself the same question that everyone asks when something tragic and intentional happens -- "who benefits the most from this?"

I knew it was an inside job when the plane hit the pentagon. Nothing penetrates washington air space that isnt supposed to be there. Yeah a lot of people think it was in inside job by our own government....explain the purpose of THAT one!! |
