You got lucky! I had to work for years to find the one I love. It was fun and tough to Mingle till the one came.

all i did was add him to my favorites.. and the next thing i knew he was chatting with me and kept pushing that he wanted to meet me.. i was cautious at first bc i wasnt sure if he was real or not bc it seemed just too perfect.. but then i skype chatted with him and i knew that it was gonna work out!!

my storyy is....i am from Romania i lived there for all my life but i met this great guy on the internet and came to UK but not for a serious relation with him just to find something to work and make more money to help my familyy...but it happends that we fall in love and now we are expecting a baby in january.i have to say that i feel realyy complete and loved and everything is new for me and its realy realyy good

I don't know if my story is what one would consider sucess but for me it is.

I moved from the south to the west coast and it was a real culture shock because it was also my first big jumping off place from working all my life sometimes two or more jobs and being full time Mom/grandmom.

Mingle help me not be lonesome and think about what my real interests are. The self discovery has been pretty awesome. LOL still have not become a great speller but I can finally type some.

The people here are the real gift. They are, for the most part very real, funny, empathetic, and interesting to talk to. Since I have been hanging around I have seen some go through job changes, illness, births, romances, and what I like to call rebirths. It gives me a lot of hope and even some stability to know I can pop on and see a great mix of old and to be discovered new friends. And no they don't replace friends in real life but they sure can help you more than you ever imagine. Definitely worth the time to find your match.

Hmmmmm Mingle for me has changed my life..

I have met a group of wonderful people who offer support, encouragement and a good kick in the backside if I need it.

I have met my best friend and husband.

But for me it's like I gained a whole family on mingle, spread from one end of the world to the other, and although I will never meet most of the people on here who are special to me, they will always be with me.. Right here.

Thanks heaps to everyone who has argued, comforted, encouraged, loved, teased and just plain harrassed me, you have made my life a whole better place.

My story is unique, but worth sharing.

I was addicted to drugs, and wanted to quit. I had no friends, (that were not drug users) no family, no boyfriend, and was unable to attend any sort of support groups. All I did have was my dog "Boogie" and a computer, that I was very new to using.

I found Mingle2, I dont remember how, but I made my first post in the "new members" area, and said "Hey is anybody out there? Lets rock and roll", ,(some members here still remember that) Of course I got many replies, and so now I knew, there were people I could talk to, on the internet.

Then I BOLDLY made my next post called, "NO MORE METH MOUTH". I told complete strangers that I was addicted to smoking meth, and I wanted to stop that day, and did they have any suggestions. I am not kidding, I got 5, or more, pages of complete strangers, telling me, "you can do it", "you go girl", ect... I was VERY surprised, and deeply moved. I didnt realize it then, but I had found my support group.

As time went on, I kept getting emails, wanting to know if I was still clean, how I was doing, and offering support. Instead of trying to individually answer each email,(I swear, there was tons ) I started to post about my progress, every 2 weeks. I received the same reaction from the Minglers, everytime!

Long story "kinda" , short, I now have a family here at Mingle. I have been clean for 4 years, and no I will never go there again. I also found Jesus, was saved,(about 6 months later) found a church, joined the choir(im a singer), got re-baptized, and have attended church since then.

Mingle has been through alot more with me too, relationships, break-ups, breast cancer, mental health issues, and much more, and they have never left my side since that first day. I love everyone here dearly.

Now the icing on the cake. I have been talking to a man called Ujgearhead(Aaron) for three years, that I met here, and instantly became good friends with. Sometime, somehow, someway,(we're really not sure ) we fell in love with each other. He lives in PA, and I live in CA. He will be visiting me for the first time this February, and if all goes well, I will be returning to PA, to live with him. But no matter what happens, I have found a lifetime friend in Aaron, someone who "gets" my strange sense of humor, and loves me for WHO I AM, even though im not perfect.

Ive said this soooooooooooo many times, but thank you Mingle, not only for my drug recovery, my cancer survival, and Aaron, but thank you for giving me a family, that I wouldnt otherwise have. It has made my physical and mental state, ALOT better, and my life much happier. :

And thank you to my Mingle family, for helping a complete stranger get her life together, always beeing there for me, through thick and thin, putting up with me , and loving me just the way I am.

And all I am, is me.
