 im so sorry to hear that, i just had a bird myself not too long ago, my apartment made me get rid of him cause they are not allowed on the lease, since no one would take him, i had to let him loose outside, i was crying uncontrollably that a stranger walked by and took him home for me. I love birds, i know how you feel. Again, so sorry
you let a pet bird loose outside?? it would have died so quick, why didnt you give it someone?? thank god someone took him home |

Sorry about your bird, at least it sounds like it went quickly & was happy, singing right up to the end.

Not too long ago I lost my dog, but I was happy he died because of the pain he was in. Sorry for your loss, at least your memory of it is a good one.

Sorry to hear that -- birds are beautiful creatures and can do so much to make our lives more pleasant....
Last November, Whisper's hamster, Ned, died -- I still have pictures of him.... I've always found losing a pet to be just like losing a member of the family -- some people think that's crazy, but I often find myself more attached to an animal than to most people....!

same here, when i lost my rabbit, i was a wreck for months, i was crying all the time and i was so depressed. my rabbit was kept in the house, he would jump in bed and sleep with you,he had the run of the house, it was more like having a cat than a rabbit. we did everything to save him, but when he got bad, we took him to the vets immediatly, and we had to have him put to sleep, i couldnt bare seeing him suffer, when he had pretty much no chnace of surviving, and he had other problems to which would have killed in further down the line. ive got his ashes in a little box they did for us.

Animals are God's creatures and out friends as well. Losing a pet is heart breaking as well. Sorry to hear you lost yours, but... now he is flying free.

I'm sorry for your loss.
My dog ran away a couple of days ago and I was heartbroken.  Fortunately I found him. He somehow got back to where I lost him and he was waiting.

I just walked in the kitchen and found him dead in his cage. I was just on the phone with a friend and she'd commented how she could hear him singing. I had the stereo on and he loves the music. This is so sad because I'd bought him for my mother for Christmas in 04, however I had to take him back a month later because she was forgetting to feed and water him. I had thought a bird would be company to her, and fairly easy to care for. Guess they are together now.
