when and why?

I used to, but then it seamed like all they want to do is talk. They talk more than they wrestle and it seems to be the same rivalries every week, but i haven't watched it for a few years though, it may have changed since.

When "the-Undertaker" is on. In my opinion his "character" has class. |

almost like watching a soap opra i agree, its like a violent soap opera |

thats exactly why i watch it is for the story, i admit that it can be a bit repetitive and cheesy sometimes but i get really bored without it. I don't want people to really be hurt so i am glad that it's fake because it reduces the injuries they would have if it wasn't.

I watch Raw every monday night. I try to catch Smackdown and I tend to steer clear of ECW. I do have the 24/7 channel and watch the older stuff on there.

The best days to be a wrestling fan was the '90s, during the Monday night ratings wars. The competitive battle between the WWF and WCW forced both to up the quality of their matches. Since WCW became a non-factor in the war in 2000 (and subsequently became bankrupt in 2001), WWE has really been poor, in my opinion.
Today I rarely bother with WWE, and much prefer their new rival, TNA. I also watch the less visible wrestling companies, like ROH, New Japan, All Japan, NOAH, Dragon Gate, etc. There is a hard-hitting aspect to these shows that is more like a sport. |
