no but im going to start a small one might have to be in pots though..and its for the children i look after ..to learn to grown things..might get back to you for advice hun if ok??


watch out ..my tomato plants grow 9 feet tall...
lol will have to be something simple..not a bad gardener just never grown veg

When I was in northern Wis. I planted asparagus in my back yard, had no idea how long it really takes to get mature.

That was about 6 years ago. Sold my house 4 years ago.
Someone is probably enjoying them about now.

How long does it take? I was thinking about setting aside part of my garden for asparagus..my daughter and I both love it.

Not really sure, each year you will get a few more new sprouts.
I suggest going to your garden center and get more than enough of the roots. It will be a few years before you get a good bunch of them.
