so that last few weekends i have benn watching the news at like 6:30 in the morning because i can't sleep anymore. Well the last few weekends every saturday and sunday morning i am hearing about more and more people getting hit by drunk drivers or drunks walking out in front of cars and getting hit. Is this becoming more and more of a problom or are people in Portland just alot more stupid then everyone else?

being from the portland area.... i have to say.. i dont drink and drive... not that i never have cause i have... i think the issue here is some dont know you cant have 2 drinks in 2 hours and legaly drive..... even if ya eat..... till they get caught that is........ stupid is to do it again after u learned.... but i dont feel for anyone who blows a .35 level and drives cause everyone knows that is too much to drink in the first place!!! cause u feel that for sure!!! that must be 10 drinks or something like that!

hell i'm not saying i'm a saint. i have had two duii's and it did mess my life up, but these people are killing people and most of them are driving off like nothing happened

well with 2 duis........ and knowing what u are about to go through...... if u are drunk and driving and hit something would u be scared and be tempted to drive off?.... pretty much your life is over after 2 duis if u ask me....

and i have one too thats enough for me there will never be a second one....... so ill never have to take that chance again at hitting someone or something ...... not that i did hit anyone cause i havent... to clarify that... i know it destroyed my life just having one..... so walking drunk is not such a stupid thing to do..... or quit drinking

Got hassled a few weeks back for stumbling home.. The whole 70 feet from the bar.. Butthead cop, that one..

th way things are going in life,,,,it's gonna get better,,,,,th more people thatlose ther jobs,home,,,,,familys,,,,,,,,,they gonna find reasons to drink

i never drank cause i lost a job.... however lost my job cause i had dinner with my gf and 2 drinks with it.... some people never learn....

oh and ps hauveralan...... never have 2 drinks at pasttimes on 223 and halsey....... they sit in the honda place and wait for everyone to leave the bar and pull over everyone...

also.... if u walk there they pull ya over too!

lol thanks for the advise......but if i can't walk to a bar then i drink at home........Yeah the first one was dumb and the second was a set up i think I mean one drink with dinner and two cops waiting for me to leave.......i don't know sometimes you just need to hide under a rock until everyone forgets you

the punishments are too lenient
