Topic: Do you respond | |

I used to always answer out of courtesy, but sometimes lately I've been regretting it. Guys can get reallllllllllll pissy if I'm not interested. So sometimes maybe it's better to just ignore. It's a no-win situation if you aren't into the person and they are into you. EXACTLY! |

so you all are telling me if someone emails you and you are NOT interested in them, you respond? WHY? I would think after you saw they read it and they didn't respond you would KNOW they are NOT interested. I mean, this isn't brain surgery here |

They just DO. *sigh* |

to every email you get? Pretty much -- spammers, scammers, trolls, and people who just want to argue about my profile will be cheerfully ignored.... |

They just DO. *sigh* I disagree, things don't change because of the internet. Things change because of a perceived notion of the interenets inherent evil. Not everyone on the internet is a crackpot or serial killer. Just like in real life the majority of the people you meet will be normal fun loving people. That's why I answer (almost) every email that comes my way. I might miss a few here and there when work keeps me busy and I don't get on. I mean it's just rude to answer an inquistory email 30 or 40 days later. But I not about to let the fear of "is this person psycho" ruin any chance I might have of meeting someone wonderful. Even another pen pal. Hell, I've dealt with psycho's before, they're mostly harmless. |
