Topic: THE GREEN DRAGON'S INN - part 2 | |
---|---|
*Alatariel enters the Inn and scans the room* *She looks to see if she can find the woman called Phara* *Jericho sees Alatariel enter and nods at her* You ran out of her pretty quickly earlier. I think you let that little goblin rattle you a little to much. *Coughs a bit* I wouldn't listen to what she says, I have met many fortunetellers and it is all a big show. *startled that the man is speaking to her* Oh no that had nothing to do with it. I thought I saw someone out the window that I knew from my past. Are you ok? maybe I can help you. |

I'm afraid you cannot madam, about the only thing that helps me anymore is my glass of brew. *He says holding up his glass and grinning a bit* I appriciate the offer though. *He stifles a cough* |

But I do have to admit it did kinda scare me when she said our paths were meant to cross. Especially since I have this feeling that I know you from somewhere. Even though it is not possible for us to have met. |

They are able to offer temporary relief although they are not able to cure. *He coughs a bit more and takes another drink of the brew* Although like I said, I wouldn't worry about the gnome. fortunetellers are all for show. I am sure she would have said your path was meant to cross with anyone who was in the bar at the time. You shouldn't fret over it. |

oh well may i ask just one more question? *laughs a little bit* You can ask as many questions as you like may i put my hand on your chest *The man stares at her a minute not sure what to make of this one but then burst out laughing. It is cut short as he starts coughing. He once again leans forward to attemp to catch his breath. The coughing is so bad this time that he actually falls off of his barstool and hits the floor. He grabs his cloth from his shirt to catch the blood he has coughed up. When he finally regains himself he tries to pull himself up and look at the woman.* If you like madam, but like I have said. I have seen the best clerics this town has to offer. I don't know how much good your healing can do. |

Oh Phara no it was not you. I thought I saw someone from my past and I wanted to make sure. "I am so glad! I did not mean to interupt. This nice gentleman has been in pain all day. I certainly hope he allows you to use your gift!" * With that Phara takes a seat close by.* |

A groggy Barbus makes his way into the tavern, and sits in a corner table by himself, holding his head. He blows out the candle on his table to make things a little more comfortable.
Still feeling ill Barbus thinks he may eat, and throw Borimor through a loop by ordering water for the first time. Borimor, have you anything to eat, and possibly a lot of water? *holds his head in pain* |

*As Phara holds him and Alatariel attempts to heal him the coughing continues for a few seconds as her hands warm over him. After a few seconds the coughing stops and he is able to stand on his own. He takes his cloth and wipes away all the blood around his mouth as he nods toward Alatariel. He clears his throat a bit as he takes his seat.*
I thank you for that. It should at least keep the coughing suppressed for another few hours. You really didn't need to do that though. |

I can not stand to see someone suffering. It is why I am what I am.
