*starts to read her parchment and again gets that far away look in her eyes* *begins to think that maybe her nightmares are connected along with this parchment* *Maybe the parchment is magical like Raquils Scroll. Anyone who sees him at work can see when he crosses out an item on the list those words and the mark disappear of the page.* |

*Calliope comes scampering into the Inn. Stops dead in her tracks trying to catch her breath...*
"There are soldiers in the streets...something has happened..they are checking everyone for something...I came as swift as a bird in flight to warn all my comrades...I had to duck into corners and crawl under carts to remain unseen." |

*puts away her parchment before she starts to embarass herself again by crying*
*notices that the mysterious man in the corner has turned away from the room* *wishes she could go and talk to him but because of her privacy obsession and the fact she is slightly afraid of him she only watches him from the other side of the room* |
|
|
|
*Calliope continues to the kitchen to retrieve some water for she was parched from all the running....breathing deep breaths she settles down and returns back into the Inn looking at everyone as they talk of the soldiers*
|
|
|
|
*notices Calliope and points to the bulletin about the robbery*
That is why they are everywhere my little friend. You must becareful with your scavenging now so they do not mistake you for the thief. *wink* |

*With a loud snort, Caratacus the Druid wakes up from where he had been sleeping in a chair next to the hearth. He looks around blearily and then promptly falls flat on his back on the floor.*
"Damnation!", he says loudly, "That'll teach me to fall asleep in a chair tilted back on it's rear legs." He face flushes with embarrassment as he picks himself and then his chair off the floor. Setting the chair back on its legs he once again looks blearily around the room. He sees that there are new notices on the bulletin board but decides that he isn't awake enough yet to read them. The few patrons snicker, some openly, some behind their hands. Caratacus pretends not to hear, plops back down in his chair, scratches his beard, then yawns and stretches his arms and back. He looks around for Boromir but doesn't see him, he decides to wait until he is more awake before seeking him out for some food and water. He's really not awake enough to feel hunger yet. Then, after hearing what Alatariel has said to Calliope, decides he'd better get up and read the Bulletin Board, after all. He takes his staff in hand and stiffly walks over and begins to read. |

The soldiers are going to keep business down for me it would seem. No need getting upset though, nothing I can do about it. |

*Notices all the commotion and the soldiers outside... Nalelerl tries not to be noticed and silently gets up from his stool and ducks in the shadows.*
*He takes a last glance at Alatariel's face and smiles disappearing in the shadows of the inn.* |

*nods in her direction* *grumbles to herself* I am sure getting tired of this cold wind following everyone around here lately. |

*Jericho walks in and seems to almost be out of breath. There are a few beads of sweat forming around his forehead as he scans the room. He sees Alaterial and moves over to her table. He moves over and leans down next to her as close as he can get without touching her and whispers.*
We must talk... |

*While everyone is so busy about the robbery, no one notices Nalelerl up on the ceiling boards watching and listening.*

After reading the notices, Caratacus thinks, "Too bad about the robbery but at least the local officials are doing something about it." Decides that, if questioned, he will do his best to co-operate and perhaps mention his strange encounter in the darkness of the other night. Thinks, "Too bad Barbus isn't going to be around, I wouldn't have minded asking a few more questions about the town and it's denizens."
With a shrug of his shoulders, the Druid decides to go and look for Boromir and ask for some breakfast. Suddenly he feels a cold breeze and turns towards the door to see Idara. As necromancers are not Druids' favorite race, Caratacus draws his cloak a little tighter around his shoulders and hurriedly brushes past her, heading once more towards the kitchen. |
