Topic: Length?

To what length would you go to be with someone you can't stay away from? Would you date someone if you could only see them once or twice a month, if they were "the one"? How much are you willing to give up, to be with someone who is perfect for you? And you thought we were gonig to talk about size.....

I thought for sure we were gonna be chatting it up about dingers, lol. But to answer the question, If that person was truly the "one" and I believed in my heart that it would work only seeing each other a few times a month then yes!! But it's hard for me to be with someone and not see them much.

Well, I moved out of my parents house to see the man I married as much as I wanted to. (Strict parents) Had a relationship for almost 3 yrs with a guy in Toronto (1000 miles). Flew up every month-6 weeks and would stay couple of weeks to maybe 6 weeks. Willing to give up? hmmm Well, I would relocate for the right thing. But I'd have to be damn sure it was the Right thing.

As a friend that would be fine... but not "as the one" or "a lover".... call me silly, but I want to actually spend time with a lover.... lol

I'm reluctant to start anything with someone too far...just because I am afraid it couldn't work.

For my 'true love' anything short of my faith or my children. Anything else is nothing compared to being with the one I'm deeply in love with.

depends on why thye cant see me more . if they had a good reasion id wait for them and hope it got better . if they kept making excuses why they could not see me id have to cut my losses and move on

Difficult one, I guess it would depend on the "one" and where they are physically, emotionally, and socially. The last thing I would want to do is tear someone away from what they know, but at the same time I wouldn't want to go out there for it just to not work out. But if it came down to a "not a shadow of a doubt" type, I would take great steps to see if it would work.

Ms. Lily~ I've given up a lot and I'd do it again if it meant that person enriched and enhanced my life. To be loved and feel love is not really defined by quantity, but I would expect that geographically things would change (at some point) according to what we both wanted and decided upon.

I walked away from everything & started totally over for Gwen. Ex got house, horses, car we had just bought, even kept some personal stuff from my Granddad. I GOT MY FREEDOM & yrs later she kicked my son out & I got him. Worth everything I walked away from to be with Gwen.

I like to think that if I found the perfect guy for me, I would do about anything but change my beliefs...as long as they felt the same for me. If I couldn't bear to be apart, but for some reason had to be, it would make the time we did have all that more precious. I have done it before, but it didn't work out in the end....I still believe it could work if it were truly right.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I traveled 350 miles every weekend for many months and have since then moved in with the love of my life,,, I don't believe I gave up anything,, I however have gained a bigger extended family which i have come to love deeply and the blending of our worlds is quite Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,,,
