I'd agree with it--to an extent. Liberals tend to get upset over petty stuff, or more commonly, things that don't even exist. When they're not going on their witch hunts on behalf of bogus theories like peak oil, global warming, and socialized medicine, they're usually complaining about stupid things like how chickens aren't treated right during slaughter.

Well and the liberals I know, are caring, considerate, life loving individuals who try to respect all lifestyles and the earth we live on. Most of the republicans I know are constantly spouting off their hatred of other races, non religious, liberals (who they blame for everything that is wrong with the world..lol), the people they claim suck off the system, other nations, etc.... So I see liberals as happier in general, repubs are full of hate and discourse constantly. The repubs are real downers for those around them from my experience and I have known too many of them too

Yea. She's happy. Just check out how many post she has compared to little old conservative me. Out of 7000 and some post. I would fall off my chair is she ever said one thing not hateful towards a conservative. Yet every topic is complaining or trying to justify her hatred of the so called neocon monsters she creates.

There's serious problems on both sides of the aisle.

As far as those Repubs, that have been seen as full of hate, those aren't real Conservatives. Those are NeoCons and and the Neocons started out as far left liberals, who learned a little Trotsky principle of Permanent war, which was followed by a party jump and wa-la, you have every idiotic principle presented in the Repub. party, since these criminals are the ones shoving real conservatives to the side as often as possible for more power in their subgroup.

Consider this, Repubs are supposed to be against the growth of the Government and against it's growing any more scope of power to control American citizens lives and personal choice. Bush, however, expands the Dept. of Education, created a staggeringly expensive, inept and corrupt system called the Dept. of Homeland sec. to oversee all the other "law" enforcement entities, then he expands all of those as well: FEMA, BATF, CIA, FBI,DEA... all got more funds allocated to them, but aren't doing that much more or any bit as efficiently.

That might change as Homeland security is widely known to be one of the fastest growing job markets, both in the Government and outsourced to private companies, but I doubt it, it'll just mean there are more of them...if that just don't scare you !
Historically, Conservatives have been voted in to end wars that were started by the "Liberal" leaders, However under Bush, we have retaliated to the taliban, but then stopped chasing Bin Laden in favor of Occupation and Nation building in Iraq and Afghanistan and if the rhetoric is to be given a grain of truth, we could be moving in the direction of expanding our new found concept of America=perpetrator of wars of aggression to spread this conflict into the Persian lands of Iran. Real conservatives stand on the principles of the Christian Theory of Just War, which is totally defensive in nature, meaning you deal in your yard until someone starts a fight in your yard, then you handle that fight, but you don't take over your opponents yard in response, once the opponent is defeated, you return to minding your own yard.
Conservatives, real ones, don't support the subsidies or bailouts of business, but consider, under Bush we've seen the bailouts of Airlines, Banking institutions. We've seen the subsidies on grain, corn especially, cause all kinds of havoc in the food market, retarded really, considering that burning food, when we have Americans starving is in stark contrast to the historical position of compassionate conservatism.

Real Conservatives believe in States rights usurp Federal law, but under Bush, we've seen California be denied its right to exact stiffer EPA guidelines and we've seen the DEA continue to raid and arrest cancer and aids patients who are using medical Cannibas.
Real Conservatives don't believe illegal immigration is good for our country, for a variety of reasons, but under Bush, we've seen our border guards taken off the southern border and sent to IRAQ! While McCain, good ole Conservative straighttalker, worked his fingers to the bone alongside Ted Kennedy to give amnesty ( read cuts in line) to millions of illegals that are here.

I could just keep going on and on and on... Oh yea, Real conservatives don't have to stoop to name calling, marginalized opposing views and general abrasive and aggressive attack dog behaviors when they disagree with a position.
Real conservatives take time to read and discuss and digest the issues before coming to a conclusion and they don't rely on the T.V. or some Radio talking head to decide their platform, because a real conservative gets his platform from the Constitution of the United states and the Bill of Rights.

The real problem is that both sides of the aisle have been taken over for the most part by Globalists and those people will do whatever they can to reach their little dream of Global Governance by any means necessary. This means Clinton,Bush,Obama and McCain.

Real conservatives cherish the Soveriegnty of this country, but Bush and I'm sure his predecessor will continue to push for this SPP/NAU! See I told you I could keep on going!

Whats the funniest thing? I present real Conservative issues to those who claim to be conservative and those who are just pretending to be conservative have called me a liberal too, am I just so conservative that I push myself all the way around on the pie chart?
