"Hello Warrior, who might you be...I am called Calliope of the hills of Tantor..." *looks around to see if Boromir has come back yet* *moves to join the warrior for conversation* "No apologies necessary, Rodhin, Im but a small hobbit and I just like to play, but Im very hungry and I beg your pardon on leaving so soon,,,but I am off to find something to eat" *she stands up and smiles, because she is but even shorter in height to the warrior as he sits at the table* |

Hah! You can keep your 'magical' trinkets..right next to your snake oil. I am a warrior and my battles are fought with skill, might, and heart! I need only a weapon of the greatest craftsmanship and quality....and don't think I can't tell the difference little man! Well then, let's go outside and I'll show you what I have in stock. *He stands up,leaving his scroll behind.* |

*Calliope opens the door of the Inn just a crack* *Hearing very little chatter enters and sits at the table nearest the bar* "Mr. Innkeeper! Sir Boromir,,,Im very hungry...looking for a bite to eat..what do you serve this early morn" Boromir comes out of the kitchen with a plate of food to display. We have salmon covered in a creamy green sauce. I serve it with mixed vegetables,"Boromir offers. |

*she realizes that the warrior and merchant are out he door...she grabs a quick glance at his list...but footsteps prevent her from getting a close look...she backs off and moves swiftly to the door*
*turning one more time to see if the Inn Keeper has approached* "Ah,,,Boromir...I am so glad I waited...." |

Rodhin starts to follow, but as he walks past the scroll, something about it causes him to hesitate....

just in time to witness Calliope grab a quick peek and dash out the door. He turns and follows the man.
|
|
|
|
*He doesn't notice he's stopped being followed and walks out to his cart unlocking and opening it up. He looks back and mumbles.*
...stupid, never leave the scroll, it just makes people curious. |

"Yes, I need one of only the greatest quality as I seemed to have...misplaced...my last one." Misplaced huh? Probably in someone's Torso... well I'll take a look for ya. *He starts rummaging through the pile of items and gathers two Battle Axes. One looks nicer than the other, but they both appear to be of fine workmanship.* I got these two in the non-magical department as you can see one is a bit fancier than the other one, but it's also more expensive... naturally. |

Rodhin smirks inwardly at the peddler's attempt to show him the pieces of junk. 'He must really think me the fool,' Rodhin reflects to himself. As he turns to leave he notices one in the back of the wagon that almost causes him to stand still. 'That is the one!' he thinks. He turns to the peddler and says, "Ah, yes! Very nice indeed. I find it hard to believe you still have these to sell...but what about that one in the back?" |

He puts the two awes back on the pile. * And here I thought you didn't like magical things. That one there is mildly enchanted. It's probably calling to you or some crazy magic thing like that, who knows with that sort of stuff. |

If only I would be a hobbit. I would have six meals a day and never leave the shire,'Boromir replies. |
