I did that last year because everyone was so busy with their own lives. So i took myself out to applebees and celebrated my bday. Theres nothing wrong with doing it by yourself at all =) I did it this year, turned the BIG 30, and took my kids to Applebees, well I asked them where did they want to go, and that is what they said. This day and time alot of people are so busy with their own lives, including me, so I dont even bother to ask anymore. Sad, but true! Happy Birthday to you!!!

i went to applebees for my birthday thats sad when u have to take your own self out for your B Day and i asked some friends to go they said they did not want to go.Would have u still went or stayed home? I woulda went to the local bar and gotten totally crap-faced. That, or I'd try to pick up on some babes- I'd even go so far as to use the whole "all by my lonesome on my birthday" schtick to get some sympathy from them. Who knows- you might even get be able to cop a "sympathy feel", even.
