I think the cashier should check out their first 12 items, charge them and then tell them to take the rest of their stuff and get in the BACK of the line!

I used to check, back in the day. You can TELL before you ever start ringing the order. I would ask them to pile it back in their cart and take it to a regular checkstand |

I think people need to learn patience.
Its not gonna hurt to wait a few miniutsI take the time to talk to the people in line, but I guess thats because I get along with alot of people. You will be suprised by who you can meet doing this. |

You will be suprised by who you can meet doing this. Besides a few items over what does it really hurt why make them stand in line behind the ones that have the over flowing baskets. Myself yeah I actually do count mine but then heck I normally never get out without a basket full and have to stand in the long lines. But I also let those behind me go in front with just a few items. No big deal to me I'm not in that big of a rush when I go shopping anyway.
