So i'm at the bar tonight, this girl starts talking to me i just talked to her as someone i just met, i go to leave, im walking to my car this guy starts screaming and yelling at me and all of sudden charges me, so i spear him to the ground he started screaming it hurts it hurts so i i tried to help him back up, and he jumped up started swinging at me, i duck once he swung at me i said stop again he swung again, so i just hit em 4 times and he was out, at this point i didn't want in trouble so i just left, as he was laying in the sidewalk, i dunno what to do i don't wanna get in trouble

rule # 1 of fighting....if you get the other person down, dang well don't let them get back up so they can whip on you some more. Sounds like self defense to me. Only time you cannot defend yourself physically is if your opponent is a woman....then, all you can do is prove the old adage, "I can run faster scared than she can mad."

Sorry to read this...the guy must have been really drunk and was jealous you were talking to a girl he wanted to talk to. Wouldn't know. I would say he got what he deserved...but then... .

you probably wont get caught. He was probably drunk and wont know what in the hell you were driving or what you looked like either

If the cops ask you, tell them you acted in self-defense- he charged at you, and you had to protect yourself. You acted in self-defense a second time when he tried to reach for you again.

If you've got friends or others who can vouch for your story, then you're probably okay.

For the time being though, just lay low and don't go back to that bar for the time being.

You will probably end up in jail for assault because u left him there unconscious and why? The woman u just met will tell the police what happened and it doesnt look good 4 you I would not call anyone at this time this is why the bar scene sucks u better say your prayers that this guy wakes up
