Yep...i've done my fair share of cleanin up people after they have passed..it doesn't phase me. I actually wanted to go to school to be a mortician

Hiker helps me dye the bones of the deceased. Does that count? Oh, and the first few times it was a little icky, but you get used to it after a bit.

It is a much needed job and is appreciated when it is done well. It is going to be a booming business with the baby boomers getting older.

I have done it for around 30 people...usually requests by the family or the person who passed... they're dying to get in with me...literally.. Sorry that was wrong... but they dont complain much either...sorry again..bad joke I just wondered if you thought you could handle doing it...I have friends that think Im gross...for doing it..but its not gross really..

I've combed a deceased mans hair actually. I don't want to do it again if I don't have to.

it is important for the families that there are people like you that can actually provide this service, and help peoples loved ones through a tough time. There is nothing worse than a bad makeup job on a stiff, it really brings a lot of pain and tears from the family. I have seen that first hand

Its good money too...usually 40 to 60 just for hair..and that takes me around 15 to 20 minutes...and 40 to 60 for makeup and that takes up to 30 minutes..so in less than an hour anywhere from 80 to 120 bucks It is rewarding to know that their family has peace of mind that they look like themselves at the viewing...
