My dad just left...my mom is devastated...And her birthday is coming up, too... After 20 years of marriage and two kids...how am I supposed to have faith in love anymore after this happened?

this sounds bad but my parents stayed together becuse of us kids, when they finally got divorced i told them about damn time they made it 18 years and two kids but my grandparents were together 60 years, before my grandmother died so have faith loves out there its just harder for some of us to find and keep

Sorry to hear that but sounds like there is more to it then your dad is telling. Hope your Mom is doing okay. Sending Prayers her way.

I dunno...It's just, they were my model of love...they were so perfect...and now...I dunno... They were very good parents to protect you from any problems they had. You may not understand much now, but they have to work it out. The best thing for you to do, is not tofeeel responsible for whats going on. Give them as much support as possible, and let both of them know you love them,and you need them in your life. Good luck, and dont carry your parents burdens. Continue to set a path for the life you want for yourself.
