Ok I'm on workmans comp and my dr has refered me to a pain clinic however the insurance wouldnt pay for it. Surgery is the only way to correct my problem, I have a bone on bone. Heating pads and warm baths are a joke to my condition.
If you're on Workman's comp, like I am, they HAVE to pay for it!!!!! It's MANDATORY!!! talk to an attorney....he'll tell you the same thing

I have an attorney and they can refuse to pay for a pain clinic, because a pain clinic wont fix my problem.

I got addicted to pain pills. Be careful. I found they don't kill pain at all. Rather, they got me high, and eventually I got addicted.
i agree somewhat,i dont think they address the pain as much as they cause a blissful stupor.I just dont care about the pain now.

I do go to the dr of my choice. And yes surgery on the back IS a scary thing to think about especially when I have 2 very young kids to care forfrown

What works best for you?? I have severe back pain and nerve pain from a back injury at a job, and I have been taking tramadol for a year and it's not really doing so great anymore. I've tried several other pills, but nothing works enough. Grrrr, I hate pain!!

i was on tramadol but it didnt help so im on demorol and df118 and indometacin now, they help a bit more.

Surgery worked for me..Had it in 2000 and only have pain once in a great while. I did start working out and it had helped tremendously. Make sure you have a good dr. Hope it all works out for you flowerforyou
